Various Disclaimers for Material Finish Samples
Wood
Due to natural variations which occur in veneers and hardwoods, such as grain, texture and color, no guarantee can be made of an exact match to samples. Because of the natural characteristics of wood, and because finish is applied to solid woods as well as veneered panels, slight variations in color may occur between samples and actual furniture. Factors such as aging and exposure to various forms of light alter finishes. Refer to current wood samples if the issue date is greater than 18 months old.
Metal
Due to our product being comprised of natural materials, physical samples need to be viewed to properly evaluate color tones and grain or pattern. Natural variations in color, pattern, distribution of pattern, and pattern size are inherent, and further enhance the overall natural beauty of our product. Where there are seams, the product pattern and shape can be different. These naturally occurring variations do not affect the performance or qualify for product reject or replacement.
Stone
Stone is a natural product and as such contains variations in color, veining and shading. Some stone will contain inclusions, pits or fissures as a result of its geological formation. These are not flaws and material containing them will be fabricated as a quality product which signifies the authenticity of the product. The actual stone delivered may differ from the sample shown. Samples are used as a representation of the final product and will not be an exact match. Stone is a natural product and as such contains variations in color, veining and shading.
